Our brief from the client was the renovation and modernisation of an existing bathroom space and a refurbishment of the living room area.
Remaining in the house during renovations, it was essential that works were planned in accordance with the needs of daily family life. Furthermore significant consultation with the client was required to reinstate the period features of the living room in line with design requirements.
A large amount of historical research was undertaken by local firm Origin Architecture and Heritage to ensure renovation works to the original features of the house were sympathetic and reflected the period of the house. Consultation between tradespeople and the clients ensured works were completed in a timely manner.
A beautiful and sleek bathroom renovation, complete with attic ladder access and a tasteful refurbishment of the original living space of the house have created a warm and inviting atmosphere and a comfortable, light filled family area.
